Much to the disappointment of the fans, The Wanted have decided to split up after four years of being together.Nevertheless, the reason for their shocking split up is still unsure.
Apparently the news of The Wanted break up has been a shock, not only to the fans but to some of the members of the band as well. A reason for the shock was that the leader of the group, Max George, didn't really discuss the reason of the breakup properly. There was sort of a tension and lack of communication between the members. The reason of the split up was because some members wanted to do something more with their lives. Nevertheless another reason had been revealed.
Apparently the rivalry is One Direction. Despite the fans that loved The Wanted, somehow One Direction cause things to change. According to Max, One Direction were not being friendly either. But is this really the reason The Wanted split up? According to the comments on Twitter, many people were disapointed and shocked.
"I think we all need to talk, sit down, and discuss this as a band. And honestly, I think quite frankly, what Max did was very disapointing," said one of the members of the band, Siva. Max replied: "Hey everyone. Just to clear up completely so I don't have to go over it again...My interview about everything was not in any way dishonest." After that another reason showed up when Max said: "One Direction are a phenomenon that no one else can compete with."
With the conclusion of Max: "The most important thing is we are best friends as well and that'll never change. We had four amazing years. It was the right time to end it." Was it really? Could the blame on One Direction be enough to explain The Wanted broke up?
